Memorial Day Events
SUNDAY 1 P.M.: Memorial Day Parade
A parade begins Sunday from Bottini Fuel on Main St. in Tannsersville and proceed to the Veterans Memorial Monument for a ceremony.
SUNDAY 6 P.M.: Memorial Day BBQ
Come out in support of hands-on creative, community radio in Greene and Columbia counties at Half Moon Hudson on Front St. in Hudson, NY. Partake in a barbecue feast by Hudson-based Chefrissa, catch live music with Chops & Sauerkraut (featuring "Sauerkraut" Seth Travins of the Wiyos), DJ J.R. (John Rosenthal), and more. A $20 ticket will get you a plate of BBQ and admission to all the evening's music. For $10, skip the BBQ and just join in the party. Ticket proceeds will benefit WGXC 90.7-FM. MONDAY 9 A.M.: Memorial Day Parade
A parade begins at 9 a.m. Monday from the Little League fields in Athens to the triangle for a service at the American Legion Hall.
MONDAY 9 A.M.: A parade in Germantown from the Vanderbilt Hotel on Main St. The parade proceeds along Main St. to the Memorial Park, where a service will feature keynote speaker U.S. Navy Capt. William Snyder, who works in the office of the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Services at the Mellenville cemetery and the Catholic cemetery follow.

American Legion Post 184 leads a group from the Public Square to Court House Park in Hudson.
MONDAY 11 A.M.: Cairo Memorial Day Parade
At Angelo Canna Park, Cairo town park, just behind Main St., Cairo, NY
Annual event sponsored by American Legion Mohican Post #983 from Town Hall to the Cairo Town Park.
MONDAY 4 P.M.: Memorial Day Parade
Along Catskill Main Street with ceremony at Court House.
MONDAY 5 P.M.: Middleburgh Memorial Day Celebration
At Memorial Park, Main Street, Middleburgh. Congressman Chris Gibson (R-Kinderhook) will be in attendance.
