Kinderhook water service interruption alert
Sep 16, 2014 6:25 am
The Register Star is reporting some Kinderhook residents will lose water service temporarily this morning (Tues., Sept. 16). According to village officials water will be shut off beginning at approximately 9 a.m. and remain off until 11 a.m. in the the area of William St. and Maiden Ln., and south along William St. to the Hudson Ave. intersection. Village officials advise that when the water comes back on residents first turn on outside faucets and allow them run for about 10 minutes before turning on other faucets. Faucets in homes should be turned back on slowly, starting with a bathtub to reduce the effects of sediment in the lines.
