Barnes works primarily in metal, electronics, wood, and found materials, to investigate the physical phenomena of heaviness, precarity, tension, conductivity, resistance, and transformation. Barnes current body of work, Heaven is For Junkies, will be on display during Winter Walk, Sat., Dec. 7, in Hudson.
