2 a.m.: Alexander Turnquist, Sam Moss Dec. 10 performance at the Spotty Dog in Hudson, N.Y. Alexander Turnquist was a last-minute fill-in for snowed-in Liv Carrow. http://sammoss.net/ Sam Moss is a songwriter and string player. In fall 2013, he released his eighth solo album, No Kingdom. Moss has also released two albums with the old-time duo, The Howling Kettles, and compiled Imaginational Anthem Volume Five for Tompkins Square Records. In fall 2012 he was in residence at The MacDowell Colony in Peterborough, NH.
