• Scott Waldman in Capital New York reports that the state Public Service Commission has again delayed a vote on the $45 billion Time Warner Cable-Comcast merger. Now, the state must complete its review of the merger by January 22, and vote by January 27.
• WGXC Outreach Advisory Committee Meeting meets at 6 p.m. Jan. 7, at the WGXC Satellite Studio in the Carnegie Room at the Catskill Library, 1 Franklin St. in Catskill. The WGXC Outreach Advisory Committee helps support the station's outreach efforts, including station events, participation in community events, dissemination of outreach materials, and more.
