Jun 11, 2012 4:00 pm
Jimmy Vielkind reports on Capitol Confidential the New York State Senate and Assembly are slated to take up the bill known as ISTOP, designed to strengthen the state’s system for tracking dangerous prescription medications. It would also prohibit automatic prescription refills for some common painkillers, and eventually require they be prescribed electronically. Read the program bill and memo at Capitol Confidential.
