Mar 04, 2011 8:10 am
Colin DeVries of the Daily Mail writes that the small-screen debut of Cat’n Around Catskill has been rescheduled for this Saturday. “Must Love Cats,” the feline-centric television series on Animal Planet hosted by musician John Fulton, will feature Catskill’s annual public art project on Saturday, March 5 at 8 p.m. on Animal Planet. The episode’s air date was rescheduled from March 12 to this Saturday. The show will feature clips of the Cat’n Around Catskill project, possibly featuring Linda Overbaugh, executive director of the Heart of Catskill Association/Catskill Chamber of Commerce, which founded the project, and Peter Markou, then town supervisor of Catskill and current Greene County treasurer. Filming was done last summer and prominently featured the famed fiberglass felines designed by local artists Kenny Rich and N.J. Wheelock.
