Jarman's Garden was produced for Australian Broadcast Corporations's iconic radio art show, The Listening Room (1988-2003). Jarman's Garden is an impressionistic rendering of filmmaker Derek Jarman’s famous garden on the coast of England. In the last years of his life as he was dying of AIDS, Jarman created the garden out of things washed up from the sea. After Jarman died, the garden was tended to by his partner Keith Collins whose voice we hear in the piece. Sherre DeLys collaborated with Chris Abrahamson on the stunning soundwork in the piece. - Described by Wave Farm Radio Artist Fellow 2019/2020, Karen Werner.
