Douglas Hedwig
Composer Douglas Hedwig was a trumpet player with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra (Lincoln Center, NYC) for 27 years, performing and recording with the finest conductors and soloists in the world. He turned his full attention to composition in 2011. Hedwig is Professor Emeritus at The City University of New York, and previously served on the faculty of The Juilliard School.
