Hosted by Kieran Riley.
Today during the 4pm hour, host Kieran Riley is joined by three artists involved in the new work "Catenary" which is making its world premiere at PS21 in Chatham, NY on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 3:00 pm.
Directed by Canadian-American violinist Hannah Epperson and Canadian-American choreographer Rebecca Margolick, Catenary is a new interdisciplinary work, making its world premiere at PS21 at the conclusion of a two-week residency. The piece, which combines live music and dance in innovative and exciting ways, features three rising performers: Epperson, Margolick, and composer/pianist/electronics performer Niloufar Nourbakhsh. Throughout the performance, the musicians become part of the choreography, the gestural dance movements become part of the soundscape, and traditional relationships are redefined. Featuring innovative sound design and experimental instrument structures, this dynamic new work opens a new and novel space for us all—performer and audience alike—to explore our relational potential together.
Tune in for a mix of music themed on current events, interviews with artists, musicians, community members, and more live from Housatonic, Mass. Also featured are the segments:
