Kyle Adams reports in The Daily Mail a portion of Hunter was locked down for three hours, Wed., June 5, following the receipt of a bomb threat. Authorities reopened the Valero Country Store, and the roads and streets surrounding it, after a sweep of the building and grounds by New York State Police investigators and an explosive-sniffing dog was completed. A bomb was not found. The gas station was locked down and the area around the building cordoned off. An evacuation of the immediate surrounding area was ordered.
