Bomb threat in Hunter; no explosives found

Kyle Adams reports in The Daily Mail a portion of Hunter was locked down for three hours, Wed., June 5, following the receipt of a bomb threat. Authorities reopened the Valero Country Store, and the roads and streets surrounding it, after a sweep of the building and grounds by New York State Police investigators and an explosive-sniffing dog was completed. A bomb was not found. The gas station was locked down and the area around the building cordoned off. An evacuation of the immediate surrounding area was ordered. People living beyond the evacuated area were told to stay in their homes. The State Police investigation is ongoing. Read the full story in The Daily Mail.
