New York energy report will be late
Nov 27, 2019 12:49 am
Rick Karlin reports in the Times Union that every four years the New York State Energy Research and Development Agency is required to release a report on state energy policy. The last one was issued in 2015. But NYSERDA says the report won't be ready until next year. Instead of saying the report is late, officials are tying it into another report, the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act. “So as not to duplicate work, the Climate Action Council’s broader examination and analysis of emissions producing activities across the entire economy will then inform the more narrowly focused State Energy Plan, which only looks at the energy sector,” said NYSERDA spokesperson Kate Muller.
