Frontier to begin flights to Albany

Stephen Williams reports for the Daily Gazette that the Albany airport has added an eight airline, with Frontier Airlines to begin flights to Denver on Sept. 17. Those flights will increase to three days a week in October, when the airline also begins runs to Orlando. Currently, Southwest, United, American, JetBlue, One Jet, Cape Air, and Elite fly into New York's capitol. Denver is Frontier's hub, with many connections to West Coast cities. Currently, about 4,500 people per day board flights in Albany, according to the Transportation Security Administration. Read the full story in the Daily Gazette.
