Columbia County sheriff's deputy fired

Diane Pineiro-Zucker in The Daily Freeman reports that a Columbia County sheriff’s deputy was fired for secretly taking nude photos of a woman and posting them on the Internet, the sheriff said July 9. The day before Thomas G. Bagnall, 28, of Hudson, admitted in court that he took and posted the photoes, and pleaded guilty to the felony of unlawful surveillance. Judge Jonathan Nichols issued an order of protection on behalf of the victim. Bagnall will remain free until sentencing Sept. 2, according to Columbia County Sheriff David Bartlett.
