[caption width="900" align="alignleft"] The Wage/Working jukebox, currently at the Athens Cultural Center.[/caption]Kelly Spencer in Metroland writes about artists Laura Hadden and Tennessee Watson jukebox at the Athens Cultural Center full of the voices Columbia and Greene county residents discussing their jobs. Hadden and Watson, as Wave Farm artists-in-residence in 2013, recorded dozens of local interviews for their "Wage/Working" project. The length of each interview was determined by the length of time it took the interviewee to earn a dollar. The jukebox lived for a year at the Cairo Library, and moved recently to the Athens Cultural Center, where it will be on display through Nov. 30. The artists hope that it will continue to travel throughout Greene and Columbia counties, according to the story in Metroland.

The July 8 meeting of the WGXC Fundraising Advisory Committee was postponed this week, and will be rescheduled for later in the month. Please check back for new date.
