Chatham zoning changes on hold
Sep 08, 2019 11:55 pm
Emilia Teasdale reports in the Columbia Paper that the Town of Chatham board won't be voting on zoning changes any time soon. Instead, board members are continuing to update the zoning changes and then promise to pass them by the town planner and town attorney before releasing the latest proposal for public comment. “Let’s go through the process and see what questions are still lingering out there,” said Councilperson Michael Richardson. Abi Mesick and Donal Collins, Republicans running for town board and supervisor, agreed that taking more time is a good idea. “There isn’t any emergency,” Mesick said. The Chatham board meets next at 6 p.m., Sept. 19. Read more about this story in the Columbia Paper.
