New Greene County Jail did not open on time

Jul 05, 2021 3:33 pm

Sam Raudins reports for Columbia-Greene Media that the Greene County Jail did not open July 1 as planned. Building the jail was controversial as many critics said the county could not afford the facility they said was too large when jail populations were shrinking. The new facility replaces an aging Catskill jail that was closed because of problems with the building. Read more about this story at HudsonValley360.com.
