Flood victims can file NY taxes late

The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance announced the extension of some tax filing and payment deadlines for affected taxpayers, tax preparers and relief workers in counties that were declared disaster emergencies by Governor Andrew Cuomo after Hurricane Irene. Visit the department's website for a complete list of taxes that will be accepted later from anyone affected by the storm in Greene, Columbia, Albany, Delaware, Dutchess, Rensselaer, and Ulster counties.
