John DeFrancisco is considering his options in his bid to become governor, after the Republican did not get the endorsement of Conservative Party leaders. Conservative Party Chair Mike Long seemed to agree with DeFrancisco's analysis. “Ultimately, Marcus Molinaro presented the best opportunity to win this election,” said Long.
