The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Wind Advisory for the entire Hudson Valley, and a Flood Watch for Schoharie, Albany, and Rensselaer Counties through Friday, Nov. 1. Both notices went into effect at 5 p.m., Wed., Oct. 30, and continue through 8 p.m., Fri., Nov. 1. A storm with heavy rain --one to two inches are expected -- and winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected Oct. 31, putting a damper on Halloween.
