Kyle Adams reports in The Daily Mail the Cairo-Durham Board of Education announced its decision about the use of the Cairo and Durham elementary schools, Thurs., Feb. 7. Under the new grade level realignment plan the Durham building will house Kindergarten through second grade and the Cairo building will hold grades three through five. Under the accompanying transportation plan, no child will be on a bus for more than an hour and there will be no loss of instructional time due to busing, according to Superintendent Mary Fassett.
