Swastikas, graffiti turn up in Hyde Park

MidHudson News reports that swastikas and racially charged graffiti have been turning up in Hyde Park, in Dutchess County. Last week in the Pine Brook Estates neighborhood swastikas were spray-painted on the streets, street signs were damaged, and other signs stolen, according to Dutchess County Legislator Ben Geller. A Hyde Park Police Department detective in investigating, and police patrols in the area have been increased. "Hate has no home in Hyde Park. I’m beyond disgusted at the bigotry and repeat vandalism in this neighborhood,” Geller said.
