Melanie Lekocevic reports for Capital Region Independent Media that the non-profit group Catholic Charities is giving away food at the campus of the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk schools, 2025 Route 9W in Ravena, on Feb. 24. They are looking for people who need food, and also looking for volunteers to help with the packing and distribution of food items. Organizers ask anyone picking up food not arrive before 10 a.m. to avoid causing traffic or crowding issues, and anyone driving should remain in their vehicle. Those who are walking should keep six feet apart, and everyone arriving should wear a mask. “Adhering to these instructions will allow us to distribute food in a quick and timely fashion,” organizers said.
