Nov 05, 2018 12:02 am
Over the weekend The New York Times ran one of their live, interactive polls for the 19th Congressional District election between Republican incumbent John Faso and Democrat Antonio Delgado. The poll of 505 district residents gave Delgado a one-point advantage, 43 to 42 percent, with eight percent undecided and a 4.8 percent margin of error. Of those polled, 51 percent disapprove of the job Donald Trump is doing as president, to 45 percent who approve. Women favored Delgado in the poll, 51 to 33 percent, with men choosing Faso 50 to 36 percent. Like other polls, those with less than four years of college picked Faso, and those with four or more years liked Delgado. Independents slightly favored Faso, but more Republicans choose Delgado, 17 percent, compared to Democrats for Faso, 11 percent.
