Chatham joins Climate Smart Communities

Emilia Teasdale reports in The Columbia Paper that the five Chatahm town board members voted in favor of a Climate Smart Communities resolution July 16, making it eleigile for energy efficiency and green technology grants. “Once you sign up you can do as little you like,” said Robyn Reynolds, a representative from the Climate Smart Communities program, which does not cost Chatham anything to join. “We should go back and tie it to our Comprehensive Plan,” said Town Board member Jean Rohde of the resolution.
