Teenager taken into custody after shooting threat

Daniel Zuckerman and Carly Miller are reporting for Columbia-Greene Media a ninth-grade boy at Cairo-Durham High School was taken into custody in connection with an alleged shooting threat that sent the school into a 30-minute lockdown on February 27. The 15-year-old was issued a family court appearance ticket, state police said. “There was talk of a potential shooting, which we are currently investigating,” state police Senior Investigator Pete Kusminsky said.
