Noon (12 p.m.): The Schoemer Show: Susan Surftone Guitarist Surftone will visit the Hudson studios to talk about her latest, and first solo album, Shore. A Hudson native, SurfTone has long been one of the only women lead guitar players fronting an instrumental surf band. She began playing guitar when she was nine years old and once her guitar teacher turned her onto The Ventures "there was no turning back." Surftone has toured extensively throughout Europe and has a particularly enthusiastic following in both Italy and Germany. She founded the band Susan and the SurfTones in 1993. In 2000 she moved to Portland, Oregon.
