The disturbance marked the third shooting in the city in three months, according to police. On Saturday, police were called to the area of Robinson and North 2nd streets at approximately 8:39 p.m. following numerous reports of shots fired, Hudson Police Chief L. Edward Moore said. Three shots were fired, possibly from a car, but there were no reported injuries from the incident, Moore said. City police and Columbia County sheriff’s deputies conducted a search for potential suspects and interviewed witnesses. Law enforcement returned to the scene Monday after a resident at 80 North 2nd St. reported finding what he thought were bullet holes in his apartment, Moore said. The first of the three shootings took place February 2, near State and North 6th streets. The second incident occurred near Cherry Alley and South 2nd Street on March 28. Police have arrested a Stottville man in relation to that incident. Police say there is no connection between the three events. Read the full story at HudsonValley360 [dot] com.
