Roberts concedes 107th AD race

Adam Shanks reports in the Register Star Democrat Cheryl Roberts has conceded to incumbent Republican Steve McLaughlin in the 107th Assembly District contest. “After reviewing the number of affidavits, emergency and absentee ballots reported as returned to the Washington, Columbia and Rensselaer County boards of elections, it is clear that Mr. McLaughlin will win the race for the 107th Assembly seat,” Roberts said in a statement, Tues., Nov. 13. Roberts would have needed to win 80 percent those ballots to make up the deficit left at the end of election night. The count will not be final for another few weeks.
