Jammel Cutler reports for Columbia-Greene Media that Matthew Fisch, Dawn Friedman, and Marianne Pierro are running for three seats on the Chatham school board. Fisch has been board president since 2021, and is registered independent. Friedman of Ghent has three children in the Chatham schools. And Pierro of Chatham did not respond to questions for the feature about her election. Voters decide on the candidates and the schools budget from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on May 16 in the Mary E.
