Local weather forecast
Today's forecast is specific to Catskill, in Greene County:

A Hazardous Weather Outlook remains in effect for northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, east central New York and southern Vermont, Monday. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected. In addition to possibly producing excessive rainfall, these thunderstorms could briefly pulse to strong levels producing some hail and gusty winds as well as frequent cloudy to ground lightning. Thunderstorms will move slowly from southwest to northeast at 20 mph or less.

The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Flash Flood Watch for northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, east central New York and southern Vermont, beginning at 11 a.m., Monday, through Monday night. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected. The combination of nearly saturated ground and slow-moving thunderstorms containing locally heavy rain could lead to localized flash flooding across the region. Heavy rainfall could lead to significant ponding of water on roadways and areas of poor drainage. In addition, there could be rapid rises on creeks and even larger rivers. A Flash Flood Watch means there is potential for rapid flooding based on current forecasts.

Today: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 2 p.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Cloudy. High near 86. Monday night, showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 8 p.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy. Low around 68. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Forecast for the next three days:
