Joe Gentile is reporting in the Register Star two of three Columbia County towns served by the Roeliff-Jansen Community Library rejected a proposition to raise the current tax levy to support library operations, Tues., Nov. 5. Only the town of Hillsdale approved the measure; the proposition was rejected by voters in Ancram and Copake.
