Biden, Pelosi want investigation of Cuomo, not resignation

Mar 15, 2021 6:33 am
On March 14 both President Joe Biden, and House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi were asked if New York Governor Andrew Cuomo should resign after six allegations of sexual harassment or assault, and claims that he manipulated COVID-19 information about nursing home deaths, and that he rushed a bridge construction project in time for an election. Both Biden and Pelosi refused to call for Cuomo's resignation. Biden was asked on his return to the White House from Delaware. CLICK HERE TO PLAY BIDEN CLIP. Pelosi was asked about the subject on "This Week with George Stephanopoulos." CLICK HERE TO PLAY PELOSI CLIP. Locally, Assemblymember Didi Barrett, who represents Columbia and Dutchess counties, is the highest ranking state-level official who has not called on Cuomo to resign.
