Sarah Trafton reports for Columbia-Green Media that the Caskill Village board appointed Patrick Hernandez and Erica Brantley to the housing authority board on Jan. 8. In November, Kimberly Jones-Holt and Louise Schwartz resigned from the board, and Patrick McCulloch left on Dec. 31. Hernandez teaches business at Catskill High School, and Brantley has been on the board before and lives in the village's Hop-o-Nose Apartments. “She took a break from the board and is back to work with a new, progressive board to advocate for the tenants and secure their health and safety,” said Catskill Housing Authority Chairman Sam Aldi.
