Daycare project has a parking problem

May 12, 2017 1:48 pm
The Coarc daycare project at the Galvan Armory ran into a parking problem at the city of Hudson Planning Board meeting May 11. Galvan shared the findings of their parking study, which concluded that there is more than enough on-street parking within 300 feet of the library to accommodate the proposed daycare center and office space. City code, though, calls for 11 off-street spaces for such a project. There will be a public hearing on the project at next month's planning board meeting. A full audio recording of the meeting, recorded by Jess Puglisi (click here), and the meeting's agenda (below) are on the WGXC Newsroom.
