Verizon strike begins Wednesday

Larry Rulison in The Albany Times-Union reports Verizon Communication’s two major unions -- with 1,000 employees in the Capital Region -- begin striking at 6 a.m. April 13, they announced Monday. Unless a new contract with the company can be negotiated by that time, the strike begins, the union said. Read the full story in The Albany Times-Union.
