The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Special Weather Statement for Fri., Sept. 26, warning of areas of dense fog. The dense fog will continue across portions of eastern New York and western New England through at least 9 a.m. Some visibilities could drop to one-quarter of a mile, or less. The dense fog is expected to gradually lift between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
