Dutchess County to hold budget forums
Nov 10, 2016 12:56 pm
The Daily Freeman reports that Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro has scheduled a series of town hall forums for input on the proposed 2017 county budget. Molinaro wants feedback on his $67 million spending plan, a less than one percent increase. The plan lowers property taxes slightly, and includes additional funds to move public transit from six to seven days per week. In Northern Dutchess County, a budget forum will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 29 at the Wilcox Memorial Town Hall, on state Route 199, in Milan. Read the full story in The Daily Freeman.
