Saugerties bridge reopens

Oct 02, 2014 12:15 am
The Daily Freeman reports that the Sauer Bridge in the Saugerties hamlet of Glenerie reopened to traffic Sept. 30, after seven months of repairs. The 52-year-old Glasco Turnpike bridge over the Esopus Creek just west of Route 9W, also known as the PVI Bridge, was closed in February after a piece of the road surface fell into the creek. See The Daily Freeman for the full story.
