Bard creates Center for the Study of Hate

The Daily Freeman is reporting Bard College has announced the creation of the Bard Center for the Study of Hate. The center will work to identify ways to combat hate and to stimulate public discussion about what it calls an important and insufficiently understood part of the human condition. The initiative is part of Bard’s Human Rights Project and is funded by an endowed gift from the Justus and Karin Rosenberg Foundation. The center will bring speakers from different disciplines to Bard College in an effort to stimulate discussion about hate, and it will also support faculty and students who want to focus more deeply on the topic.
