Online public meeting Wednesday to discuss Hecate's Craryville proposal

Sensible Solar for Rural New York has announced on Facebook a special online Copake Town Board meeting will take place 7 p.m., Wed., Oct. 28, on the subject of the 200,000 solar panel installation proposed by Illinois-based Hecate Energy in Craryville, a hamlet of Copake. The industrial-sized facility will have an impact on the towns of Hillsdale and Taghkanic, as well as the Taconic Hills Central School District and Copake Lake areas, according to Sensible Solar, the sponsor of the event.
