Today’s forecast is specific to Catskill, in Greene County:

The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow, sleet and freezing rain, from 4 p.m., Tues., Dec. 2, through 6 a.m., Wed., Dec. 3, in the Mid-Hudson Valley, eastern Catskills, the Capital Region,  Schoharie Valley, Taconics and Berkshires. Light snow is forecast to develop between 4 p.m.  and 7 p.m., Tuesday. Snow will change to a mix of sleet and freezing rain between 9 p.m. and midnight. Precipitation will turn to rain between midnight and 6 a.m., Wednesday. Hazardous travel conditions are anticipated.

Tuesday night, rain, snow and sleet, possibly mixed with freezing rain before 1 a.m., then rain and sleet. Cloudy. Low around 33. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
