Paul Kirby reports in the Daily Freeman that. Rep. Pat Ryan again said on Jan. 23 that Central Hudson should not get its rate approval request approved by the Public Service Commission. The utility claims that would add roughly $1 a day to the “typical” electric customer and $1 a day to the “typical” natural gas customer. The Public Service Commission is not expected to decide on the rate increase until the second quarter of the year. Read more about this story in the Daily Freeman.
