Diocese breaks off negotiations for St. Pat's

Kyle Adams is reporting in The Daily Mail the Albany Catholic Diocese has reportedly walked away from negotiations to sell the former St. Patrick's School in Catskill. Catskill Village President Vincent Seeley said Wed., June 11, the Diocese is not interested in moving forward with the proposal to turn the facility into a multi-use artist-based housing and studio complex. Seeley said in his opinion, the project is dead. Victor Cornelius said he and business partner Tom Judson were in late-stage negotiations with the Diocese when everything suddenly came to a halt early this week.
