Rep. Antonio Delgado
is only listing public events he is appearing at that his staff organized on his Events page of his official website. Delgado, who represents the 19th Congressional District, did not list a fundraiser April 7 with the Columbia County Democrats at Club Helsinki on the website paid for by taxpayers, which is standard procedure, as campaign activities are separate from Congressional work. Now Delgado also won't be listing appearances at county fairs, and other local events. Delgado's predecessor, Republican John Faso from Kinderhook, did list public events that he was attending, not just the ones his staff hosted, on his website for the first half of his term. Eventually, he only listed the events moments before they were scheduled to begin, and then he stopped listing any events on his website at all.
