Study of Ulster, Greene, and Sullivan sharing waste disposal delayed
Dec 28, 2017 11:36 am
William J. Kemble reports in The Daily Freeman that a report about the possibility of Ulster, Greene and Sullivan counties sharing solid waste disposal won't be ready for at least another month. “They’re still working on it,” Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency Executive Director Tim Rose said Dec. 27. “It’s a big report. They were looking to do it this month, but, with the holidays, we said, ‘Let’s do it in January,’ because we didn’t know if there were going to be a lot of people around.” Ulster County is funding the study, with Greene and Sullivan County officials agreeing to provide information. The report may be ready next month. Read the full story in The Daily Freeman.
