The Daily Freeman reports that county offices in Greene, Columbia, Ulster, and Dutchess counties are closed for election day Tue., Nov. 4. Polls are open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., and results are posted in the hours after the polls close. WGXC has an hour-long live edition of the "WGXC Evening News" Tue., Nov. 4 at 6 p.m., and there will be more election results on Dan Seward's "Battlefied Earth" program at 9:30 p.m., and after midnight on WGXC 90.7-FM.
