The National Weather Service predicts that Hurricane Irene will dump three or four inches of rain on our area Sunday. Friday there should be patchy fog before 9 a.m., then mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Friday night should be partly cloudy, with a low around 59. Saturday there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon., with a high near 76. Saturday night the first rains from Hurricane Irene may affect our area. Sunday it will rain, and be very windy. Sunday night, that rain will continue with a low around 52, and that windiness will continue. Monday should be glorious clean-up weather, with a forecast for partly sunny skies, and a high near 70.
