New York union membership grows slightly
Nick Reisman reports at New York State of Politics that 22.2 percent of wage and salary earners in New York are enrolled in a union, the second highest rate in the country. The U.S. Department of Labor reported union membership in New York grew from 22 percent in 2020 to 22.2 percent last year.
