Task force to hold informational meetings

Ariel Zangla is reporting in the Daily Freeman the Greene County task force assigned to explore the establishment of a county-wide ambulance service plans three meetings to receive input from emergency medical service providers, elected officials and the public. Co-Chairman Mark Evans said Wed., Jan. 29, the meetings would allow members of the task force to ask questions and determine what the public would want included in such a service. The meetings will be held Feb. 17 at the Greene County Emergency Services Building; Feb. 24 at Hunter Town Hall; and, at a location to be determined in Catskill on March 3. The task force has been charged with looking into establishing a county-wide ambulance system that would provide basic and advanced life support services.
